Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

The Caribbean Sea

The beach in Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, is miles long, and looks due east, with fine, white sand.  These are pictures of Sol Melia Caribe Tropical, an all inclusive Sol Melia resort.  Sol Melia is a large Spanish chain of resorts throughout the world.  They also own the luxury Paradisus all inclusive resorts worldwide.

As well as their usual services, the Sol Melia resorts also offer a very personalized “Royal Service”—like a hotel within a hotel. Royal Service provides special restaurants, designated pools and beach areas, top of the line beverages, a pillow menu for a perfect night’s sleep, and  butler room service.

The free form pool here at Melia Caribe Tropical is exquisite—and includes a Jacuzzi within the pool.  The swim-up bar is not far away, so you can sip your drink with an umbrella and enjoy the Jacuzzi.  Or you can just sit in the pool along the side, with your favorite book or  friend.

The Royal Service rooms at Melia Caribe Tropical are really full suites, with kitchen, dining table living space, large king bed, Jacuzzi tub, and shower—plus a nicely sized balcony.

The Dominican Republic remains the best buy for a warm weather holiday!
