When New England was so very cold this January, two families escaped to warmth and sunshine. Here are three properties that did not disappoint. Viceroy Sugar Beach and Cap Maison on St. Lucia. COMO Parrot Cay on Turks & Caicos Islands.
If you are reading about St. Lucia for the first time, go to Photo Album and learn all about the island. It clearly is my favorite because it has so much going for it. Here is what Patty and Phil said about their holiday. “How fitting to see your most recent monthly update, the right partner. We are certainly happy we connected with you! Our celebration to St Lucia was wonderful. The timing was also perfect (haha), missing the major storm and some of the deep freeze. Our only regret, we should have booked for 2 weeks longer!" |

"We were extremely happy we experienced Sugar Beach and Cap Maison. The help was so friendly and courteous. We decided not to take any island excursions. We relaxed at the beaches, read books, some snorkeling and many good meals and cocktails. When we were at Cap Maison, we ate at Harvest which was off the resort. We highly recommend it. We enjoyed Cap Maison's restaurants more than Sugar Beach. We also met Julien, but did not end up booking any massages. (He is the best ever!)"
The transportation to/from airports and between resorts went smoothly. The drivers were very friendly Now we need to start thinking about our next trip. Thanks again for all you do.” |

Parrot Cay is a very different resort on a sand dune.
Though I have not experienced Parrot Cay, it clearly is special.
This private island resort in the Turks and Caicos is a true luxury escape:

The private island is a 50-minute transfer away from the Providenciales airport - a 15-minute drive followed by a scenic 35-minute boat ride.
